dist conference and rics 2020
Members from “The Old Number One” animated the District Conference of Dist 3291 and the summit event RICS 2020. Our girls and boys just excel in excitement. We are flagbearers and creators of the centre of gravity at each such event.
The Finance Minister of West Bengal felicitated our President Purnendu for the completion of 100 years of Rotary, recalling our Club’s intervention in the major infra of the city — championing the cause of both the Howrah and the Bally bridges, pay and use toilets and a whole gamut of Rotary outreach in the community. He shared the stage with the Governor of West Bengal as well – a moment of great pride for us. The Kiritbhais and the Khemanis stood taller than their six half plus!
Ours is a somewhat insular club, shy of blowing its own trumpet, so these recognitions become a cause for celebration!
